Women's Ice Hockey History
Team History
The Carleton Ravens women’s hockey team has been active since the 2004-05 QSSF (now RSEQ) season. Having spent the majority of their history in Quebec’s top university hockey league, Carleton recently made the move to the OUA ahead of the 2024-25 season.
A young program, the Ravens still seek their first trip to the USports National Championship tournament. However, they endured a period of competitiveness in the late 2000s and early 2010s when they qualified for the RSEQ playoffs in six consecutive seasons. This included the team’s first and only RSEQ Finals appearance in 2008.
Ravens women’s hockey has produced many alumni who have gone on to play in various professional women’s hockey leagues around the world. Sweden, Austria, Canada, Norway, and even Australia are countries that have received pro talent coming out of Carleton. The Ravens have also been home to players who have represented their countries on an international stage.
Carleton Ravens women’s hockey enters its third season in the OUA in 2026-27 seeking its first ever OUA playoff appearance.
Conference Championships
Carleton Ravens women's hockey has never won an RSEQ or OUA championship. They appeared in their first and only conference final in the 2007-08 RSEQ season.
National Championships
